Stunning, fabulous, noticeable, confident, rocking it, shining. These are all adjectives that we use daily to describe people and things that are bright and stand out.

Today we are not at a photo shoot, but instead had this show-stopping young girl grace us with her presence  at the book store.

In business, you always want to shine and put your best foot forward, but fear leads us back to the sea of dull colors and mundane lifestyle. It brings you back to the ordinary, simple, everyday, bland thoughts and ideas. No longer is that once bright project going to be bright but will be dull. It’s time to step out of the dull colors and enter into the world of brightness.

Rocking the bright colors could be the spark that you need to kickstart your project. Embrace the ability that you can spark momentum into your campaign and do something today that will get you to your end goal of shining and glowing with your completed project.

Connect with your audience

Put the dots together from point a to point b and bridge the gap between you and your audience. Doing this will show that you value them and are looking at their best interest. When you truly shine, you are putting others first.

Allow yourself to shine

Smile. Prepare. Let all of it culminate at the big launch of your project. You have completed all of the preparations; now it’s time to watch the magic happen and see all of your pieces put into play. Put the fear aside and be positive. Today is your day to show the world what you have done. Embrace it; relish it; and take it all in.

Take a step back and breathe

You cannot always go 100 miles an hour without hitting any fatigue especially when you want to shine at your brightest level. Make sure to get plenty of rest along the way, and when it is crunch time, show gratitude as it will make the project go smoother due to your balanced mental perspective.

You will shine, and I know it! Sometimes it takes an outside force to bring this back into perspective, but when your project launches, you will start to see the response from your audience on how well you connected and stood out from the crowd.

Shining brightly can be translated into any project that you complete. If you are working in the events or event planning industry or just planning your first event, please order your copy of Making It Pop written by myself to show you how to connect with your audience and tell your story. By the way, Making It Pop is FREE today (June 11, 2013).

Keep on shining!
